The pups are more than fine, all nine of them. Mr. Blue is a glutton; he's bordering on obesity already. Mr. Black was the first born and is also the smallest, which was good from Caper's perspective, I'm sure. He came out squawking and is one of the more vocal representatives of the group, along with Mr. Purple and Ms. Yellow. Ms. Lavender has a feminine expression even at a week old, while Ms. Light Green has the darkest pigment. Mr. Black is quite blond while the rest of the bunch are remarkably similar in color, a medium blond as you can see in the attached photos. I think they'll end up Caper's color. Without the collars, we'd have a really tough time telling them apart! None of them has white forehead spots like the ones Keyser and Penne were born with. I'll have to check their chests to see if they have any white spots there like their dad.

Caper is just beginning to take five-minute breaks from them here and there, and will NOT be left out of a group walk. I promptly gave in to her scratching, barking and whining on the other side of the door when I tried to sneak the others out for some exercise. She's doing really well - the whelping wasn't too much trouble at all and she remains perky as ever, surprisingly unexhausted by her brood.
